Luis Sinisterra asserted himself at Leeds United on Tuesday evening. The former Feyenoord player took care of the 1-0 in the relegation game with Leicester City via a nice header, after which he was injured and saw how Jamie Vardy made it 1-1 ten minutes before the end. Due to the division of points, both teams make little progress in the fight against relegation. Leeds and Leicester remain sixteenth and seventeenth respectively and are anxiously waiting to see what competitors Everton, Nottingham Forest and Southampton do.

Particularities
Leeds took the lead at home after twenty minutes. A measured cross from Jack Harrison reached the far post for Sinisterra, who kept his cool and scored the opening goal with a fine header: 1-0. However, the joy was short-lived for the Colombian. After more than half an hour of play, he had to be replaced by Crysencio Summerville due to an injury.

The Dutchman had to watch how Leeds equalized ten minutes before the end. Kelechi Iheanacho continued well, after which the ball ended up at Vardy’s feet via James Maddison. The veteran then moved in calmly: 1-1. Vardy thought he would make it 1-2 moments later, but it turned out he was offside. On the other hand, Patrick Bamford at close range still missed the opportunity to keep the three points at Elland Road.

Midway through the first half, Tyrone Mings scored the only goal of the game. The central defender extended a corner from John McGinn and was crowned man of the match. Kenny Tete started with the visitors in the base and participated for more than an hour. Aston Villa has 54 points due to the victory, one point more than Tottenham. The Spurs played one game less.
