West Ham United are still very far from a personal agreement with Arnaut Danjuma, reports Fabrizio Romano. The transfer market expert previously reported that the Hammers were willing to pay just under €45million to Villarreal, but the biggest stumbling block would be the personal terms of the contract.

According to Romano, West Ham United would only want to sign the attacker on the contractual terms that the club management want. However, this is not negotiable for Danjuma and his entourage, so that the two parties are now so far apart that an agreement seems very difficult. The Dutchman himself does not mind this, according to Romano he does not mind at all to stay with Villarreal. West Ham United further focuses on Armando Broja (Chelsea) and Jesse Lingard (free transfer).

Danjuma makes no secret of the fact that he would like to return to the Premier League. The Nigerian-born has previously played fourteen matches in the English top league with Bournemouth. However, relegated the Cherries at the end of the 2019-20 season, with Danjuma playing two years in the Championship before moving to Villarreal.

West Ham United are also busy with a number of other reinforcements in addition to the interest in Danjuma. Earlier, the club of coach David Moyes already brought in defender Nayef Aguerd (Stade Rennes) and goalkeeper Alphonse Aréola (Paris Saint-Germain). In addition, West Ham United is aiming for the arrival of Armando Broja. The ex-Vitessenaar may leave Chelsea if the Blues Raphina managed to take over from Leeds United. The transfer-free Jesse Lingard is also top priority for West Ham.
