VVV-Venlo has strengthened itself with Torino Hunte. The Limburgers report on Thursday evening of the return of the 29-year-old attacker, who previously played for the club for three years. Hunte is transfer-free from Almere City FC and has committed to VVV for a season. The commitment also includes the option to extend the collaboration for another year.

Hunte already played 102 matches in the main force of VVV between 2015 and 2018. Two years ago a transfer to Almere followed and this summer, by mutual consent, the cooperation between Hunte and the Flevolanders came to an end. In July, he then played on a trial basis for NAC Breda for some time, without starting there permanently. After having trained in recent weeks, Hunte has now definitively joined the selection of trainer Hans de Koning.

“It is great that I can return to VVV-Venlo. This is a club where I enjoyed playing for three seasons and had a fantastic time. I have become champion with VVV-Venlo. Then it is very nice that you get a second chance here. I am grateful to the club for that ”, he responds on his return.

Technical manager Stan Valckx is also satisfied with the renewed cooperation: “Torino is a good football player and a boy who also fits well into the group in terms of personality. Nice that we can add it to our selection. He is a player with speed and an action in the legs, who always creates threat. We warmly welcome Torino to the old nest again. ”
