Jesse Lingard appears to be leaving Manchester United on a free transfer after this season. According to the BBC Negotiations for a new contract have broken down. The attacking midfielder is no longer interested in new talks and would even like to leave on a rental basis in January. The 28-year-old Lingard has been playing with . since he was seven the Red Devils.
Manchester United would have liked to extend Lingard’s contract, partly because he made a big impression on a rental basis at West Ham United last season.
