Osame Sahraoui is on the radar of sc Heerenveen, reports Football International. The 21-year-old wing attacker is reportedly allowed to leave his club Valerenga IF with the right offer. Amin Sarr is about to make a million-dollar transfer to Olympique Lyon and so the Frisians are looking for offensive reinforcements.

Lyon will transfer an amount of twelve to thirteen million euros to Heerenveen in an agreement. Sahraoui is in the picture to strengthen the selection of trainer Kees van Wonderen this winter. The Norwegian youth international has been on a shortlist of the Heerenveen scouting for some time. SC Cambuur tried to recruit the attacker last summer, but the Leeuwarders got zero on Valerenga’s request at the time, which is now open to a departure. According to Norwegian sources, the asking price is around two million euros. Sahraoui scored 13 goals and 18 assists in 84 matches in the Elite series.

Heerenveen is also in the market for Daniel Karlsbakk from Viking FK. The nineteen-year-old center forward has also played ten youth international matches for Norway. Viking would have put a price tag of three million euros around Karlsbakk’s neck. According to Football International it is not expected that Heerenveen will be financially able to recruit both Norwegian talents this winter.

Amin Sarr
Sarr said goodbye to his teammates on Saturday evening after the lost Eredivisie match with Vitesse (1-3). “This is strange. I am happy with Lyon, but I say goodbye with a defeat. That is sour,” he said ESPN. “The first contact with Lyon was last week. After that everything accelerated. There was a lot of calling, a lot of talking. And there was another match with Heerenveen against Vitesse. It was really busy.” Sarr was taken over by Heerenveen from Malmö FF for 2 million euros a year ago and scored 10 goals in 31 league matches in Friesland.
