Jorge Sampaoli has spoken positively about his opponent in the run-up to the duel with Feyenoord. The coach of Olympique Marseille indicates that he is very impressed by Feyenoord’s game and praises trainer Arne Slot. On Thursday evening, the first game in the context of the semifinals of the Conference League will take place in De Kuip, after which it will be clear next week in Marseille who can go to the final of the tournament.
The trainer of the Southern French is wary of Feyenoord. “This team plays with a lot of variation, can switch quickly and has players who are strong offensively”, sums up the Argentinian. “That means this will be a high level game and we will be forced to play well too. It will be a big challenge.” According to Sampaoli, Feyenoord’s good game is largely due to Slot, whom he thinks highly of.
