Marciano Vink does not know whether he is suitable for a role on the Supervisory Board at Ajax, the analyst acknowledged on Saturday The Grandstand by ESPN. The former midfielder of the Amsterdam team sees more benefit in an executive position. Vink was put forward last week by Valentijn Driessen for a possible role in the Supervisory Board of Ajax.
“I am very charmed by Marciano Vink,” Driessen said in the podcast on Friday Kickoff by The Telegraph. “Or Siem de Jong, who will follow a career at Ajax. International: Jari Litmanen. Vink responded to Driessen’s recommendation a day later. “The supervisory board controls, right? I am not someone who controls, I am more someone who implements,” said the former Ajax player, who understands why his name is mentioned in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. “The moment you have an opinion and express it, in this case at ESPN. Somehow people appreciate what I say or about how I watch football. Then your name is quickly mentioned. I understand that they come to me, but I don’t know if it’s a good idea.”
