FC Dordrecht hopes to breathe new life into the collaboration with Feyenoord soon. The club from the Kitchen Champion Division has been working with Feyenoord since 2019, although there is little to notice at the moment. General director Hans de Zeeuw says in the broadcast of FC Rijnmond that he hopes this will happen more in the future.

De Zeeuw reveals that Dordrecht thinks it is a shame that the collaboration turned out to be less intensive than was agreed. “Four years ago we had a very nice cooperation agreement with Jan de Jong and Martin van Geel. Actually, that stopped after a year. First De Jong left and then Van Geel. After that it came to a low ebb and I still think that is a shame.”

This summer, Dordrecht was offered Aliou Baldé on a rental basis, although the club hopes for more reinforcements from Rotterdam in the near future. “The way we are now, with our investor involved, we are making great strides. It would be nice if you would put two or three of Feyenoord’s greatest talents with us. We are still very much in favor of that,” said de Zeeuw.

Dordrecht is currently in sixteenth place in the Kitchen Champion Division. In the coming years, the low flyer hopes to grow into a stable middle-ranking driver at the second level in the Netherlands. Feyenoord mercenary Baldé has played three games for the club so far, in which he was accurate twice. In the past, Achraf El Bouchataoui, Jordy Wehrmann and Naoufal Bannis, among others, came to the Krommedijk on a rental basis.
