Milos Kerkez can make a transfer next summer. The left back of AZ is causing a furore in the AFAS Stadium this season and that has also been noticed abroad, father Sebastijan has informed the Hungarian M4 Sports.. Kerkez senior is his son’s agent and has already spoken to the necessary clubs.

The father of the nineteen-year-old AZ defender reportedly already spoke with clubs from England, Spain, Italy, Germany, France and Portugal. “We have explored the options in the talks with those clubs,” says Kerkez senior. “Contract terms have not been discussed with any club yet. Is Benfica one of those clubs? Yes, and that would be a wonderful club for him. I have spoken to them, but there are still 10 clubs where I should listen to.”

A longer stay at AZ, where Kerkez is having his breakthrough this season and will play in the semi-final of the Conference League against West Ham United, is also a possibility. “We would prefer to choose one or two clubs and then enter into discussions with them, but we are also in the right place here at AZ,” said the defender’s father. The two disagree about Kerkez’s dream destination. “I would go for England, but Milos wants to go to Spain.”

Kerkez came over from AC Milan for 1.2 million euros in January 2022, where he played in the Under 19 for a year. Before that, the Hungarian back played for FC Györ in his homeland and went through a large part of Rapid Wien’s youth academy. This season, the nineteen-year-old back has already played 47 official matches for AZ, in which he scored five times and delivered eight assists. Transfer market estimates the transfer value of Kerkez, who is still fixed in Alkmaar until mid-2026, at ten million euros.
