Johan Bakayoko can make a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain. It reports that Eindhovens Dagblad. The French have informed the management of the Belgian striker of PSV that they are going to make an offer to the people of Eindhoven. Reported earlier in the day L’Equipe all that Bakayoko was on the list at PSG.

The French sports newspaper wrote that Rayan Cherki of Olympique Lyon and Malcom of Zenit Saint Petersburg were options one and two for PSG and that Bakayoko only came into the picture if that twosome was not feasible. So it now seems that the Parisians have received no complaints from Russia and Lyon and that serious work is now being done on the arrival of the nineteen-year-old Belgian. He meets the profile that technical director Luis Campos outlined of his dream winter acquisition: a right winger with a good left leg.

It is not clear what asking price PSV will use for the talented Bakayoko, who was snatched from Anderlecht’s youth by PSV in 2019. The renowned Transfer market estimates its value at 4.5 million euros. Previously he also played in the academy of KV Mechelen, Club Brugge and OH Leuven. By the way, Bakayoko will ‘just’ come into action on Monday evening for Young PSV, which will take on Willem II at home.

Bakayoko has to take a seat in the waiting room for now. Earlier this month, he also seemed to be heading for a departure from PSV, albeit on a rental basis. NEC showed interest, but received no response from the Belgian himself. This season Bakayoko came to nine games in the Eredivisie, in which he scored twice and delivered an assist. Last year he was still active for Jong PSV, where he flourished under Ruud van Nistelrooij and was involved in 29 league goals for the U21 team. Just like his trainer, Bakayoko made the final switch to the first team this summer.
