Devyne Rensch does not seem to mind the nasty words that Zinedine Machach uttered to him on Thursday in the competition match between Ajax and VVV-Venlo (3-1). After a normal-looking duel for the ball, the fire hit the pan. “In the streets, I kill you my friend”, Machach snapped at Rensch. The Ajax defender finds that statement ‘not normal’, but responds with a wink in front of the camera ESPN.

“Of course: you are behind, it is not going so well, I have you in my pocket … Then you will say such things, but I only thought it was funny”, assures the youth exponent of Ajax. “I don’t care what he says. He has to come to my street, then we’ll see”, he adds with a laugh. “Yes, now I can say it too. But I’m kidding.” Referee Dennis Higler called the ruffs together and warned them to rest. Cards were not given.

Commentator Leo Oldenburger reacted with great indignation at the threat from Machach. “‘In the streets, I kill you my friend’? Is that really true the text?” Asked the ESPN reporter during the game. “Seriously … This is not a way of talking, is it? No, that’s a nice example. It might be said more often, but this … It’s actually outrageous that that is said. But he did say ‘my friend ‘, that is respectful. ” Machach fell out injured shortly after the riot.
