When Jadon Sancho leaves Borussia Dortmund next summer, the German clubs set their sights on Noni Madueke. BILD is able to report that the nineteen-year-old wing attacker of PSV must become Sancho’s successor. Madueke was explicitly linked earlier this month to a departure from Eindhoven, because ‘various European top clubs’ would have him in their sights.

Goal reported on Thursday that Borussia Dortmund has adjusted the asking price for Sancho downwards. Longed for last season those Boruses still 120 million euros for the 21-year-old wing attacker, but that asking price has now been adjusted to 90 million euros. The Englishman is allowed to explore his transfer options ‘under certain conditions’ Goal. Chelsea has been mentioned as a possible candidate in recent weeks, while Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City are also said to have shown interest at an earlier stage.

If Sancho does indeed leave next summer, Borussia Dortmund will report to PSV for Madueke. It Eindhovens Dagblad and Football International recently reported that ‘almost the entire European top’ is after Madueke. From England, RB Leipzig, AC Milan, Leicester City, Bayern Munich, Leeds United and Crystal Palace were previously mentioned as candidates. Leicester City would even be willing to deposit twenty million euros for Madueke.

BILD on the other hand, mentions an asking price of fifteen million euros for Madueke’s contract that is still running until mid-2024. PSV took Madueke away from the Tottenham Hotspur youth academy on a free transfer almost three years ago, where he had played for four years at the time. The Spurs in turn snatched him from the academy of Crystal Palace, where Madueke is said to be able to return. Madueke made his debut in the main squad of PSV last season and made 34 appearances for the time being, in which he scored 9 goals and 8 assists. The attacker also earned a place in the European Championship selection of Young England, which was eliminated in the group stage in March.
