Arne Slot is getting better and better in the Premier League, you know The Times. After Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Crystal Palace would now also prey on the signature of the Feyenoord coach. The English are very fond of Slot’s dominant style of play, which they would like to see on the other side of the Channel.

Tottenham’s interest in Slot is not new. The Telegraph wrote at the beginning of April that the 44-year-old elector is one of the last three candidates to succeed the recently fired Antonio Conte. West Ham and Crystal Palace can now also be added to the list of interested parties. The former is three points above the relegation zone in the Premier League and is likely to say goodbye to manager David Moyes. At Crystal Palace, 75-year-old Roy Hodgson temporarily takes over the honors, who has started the way up, but will enjoy his retirement again after this season.

The name Slot is high on the lists all over London. This is not least because of his playing style. The clubs would like to implement the offensive, possession-based style within their own regions and thus achieve the same success as Feyenoord. With the team from Rotterdam, Slot is on course for the national title and he also still has Europa League success within reach. Last year, the Conference League final was reached.

Last winter, Leeds also tried to tempt United Slot into a switch. Leeds, where his ex-pupil Luis Sinisterra is on the payroll, among others, had a buyout payment of five million euros, but that offer was rejected by the Feyenoord club management. Slot did indicate that he ‘could think about an offer in an unguarded moment’. The success trainer will remain in De Kuip until mid-2025.
