Ajax is not only busy with bringing in Kamaldeen Sulemana. Director of football affairs Marc Overmars was recently also present at a game of Red Star Belgrade to watch the twin brothers Jovan and Nikola Mituljikic (18). The Ajax director was in the Serbian city in the company of scout Henk Veldmate, Polish football journalist Przemek Siemieniako reported on Friday via Twitter.

“Overmars and Ajax chief scout Henk Veldmate recently visited Belgrade and personally looked at the Mituljikic twins. Jovan and Nikola are eighteen years old and are among the greatest talents of the academy of Red Star”, is how Siemieniako describes the visit of the Ajax- duo to Serbia. It is not yet clear whether Ajax is already preparing a bid for the talented twins, born on January 20, 2003.

Jovan Mituljikic comes into his own as number ten, while his brother Nikola is a right-footed winger. They are seen in Serbia as two of the greatest talents of recent years, with an enormous dose of technology. Both players have so far scored six games (one goal) in the main squad of Red Star Belgrade. The attacking midfielder and the winger have not yet been eligible for youth matches on behalf of Serbia.
