In collaboration with Opta and the Kitchen Champion Division, Football Zone puts together a Weekly Team of the Week with players who have performed best based on statistics. The 34th round was played last Friday and Monday. PEC Zwolle secured promotion to the Eredivisie with a 1-1 draw at Almere City, while MVV Maastricht and NAC Breda did good business in their battle to secure participation in the play-offs.

The goal in the Team of the Week is defended by Wouter van der Steen this round. The experienced closing post contributed to FC Den Bosch’s surprising 0-1 victory over Roda JC by making six saves. Willem II is purveyor to the court this time. The team from Tilburg convincingly won 4-0 against TOP Oss on Friday evening. Elton Kabangu (one goal, two assists), Jizz Hornkamp (one goal, one assist) and Leeroy Owusu (one goal) each had a share in the big win.
