Raphinha is brimming with confidence during his first weeks at Barcelona, according to an interview he gave. Raphinha made his debut on Tuesday night during Barça’s easy 0-6 exhibition win against Inter Miami and even managed to score a goal. The Brazilian indicated in the press conference afterwards that he thinks the Catalans are better than Real Madrid.
Raphinha is very happy with the half he played against Inter Miami. He indicates that he already feels comfortable in Xavi’s team. “I am very happy that I was able to score straight away and that everything went so well. I was in a good game and hope to continue this,” said the 25-year-old winger, quoted from the Spanish ASH. At halftime, Raphinha was replaced by Ousmane Dembélé.
This Sunday, Barcelona will play its next exhibition game at 5 a.m. Dutch time, against arch-rival Real Madrid. Raphinha is confident that Barca will also win that match. “Naturally. I hope to score again. That gives me confidence. Especially when it’s against a team like Real Madrid. Although I am convinced that we are better than them.” A bold statement from the Brazilian, given the final standings in LaLiga last season. Real managed to finish no less than thirteen points above the Catalans.
In the upcoming season, Raphinha does not only want to perform with Barcelona. The Brazilian still has a big childhood dream that he wants to realize. “My dream is to go to Qatar with Brazil.
