The third period of the Kitchen Champion Division is almost over and the battle for the Bronze Champion Shield is still in full swing. Nevertheless, it is time to reflect on the third period, as it is possible to vote again for the nominees for the Bronze Shields. The polls are open until March 14 until 5 p.m.

Nominated players third period
The nominated players of the third period are Odysseus Velanas (NAC Breda), Apostolos Vellios (PEC Zwolle), Lennart Thy (PEC Zwolle) and Lance Duijvestijn (Almere City). All four names have earned their spot in this shortlist. Vellios scored no less than six goals for Heracles and also gave two assists, Armenteros is the top scorer of the third period with seven goals. Duijvestijn has proven to be an indispensable link in Almere and Velanas played an important role in the advance of NAC.
Nominated goalkeepers third period
There are also four nominees among the keepers: Ennio van der Gouw (VVV-Venlo), Romain Matthys (MVV Maastricht), Nordin Bakker (Almere City) and Liam Bossin (FC Dordrecht). Matthys was one of the few bright spots in the declining MVV, while Bakker already kept the zero five times on behalf of Almere during this period. Van der Gouw see a lot of potential in the goal at VVV, while Bossin excelled with many saves on behalf of the Sheepheads.
