Fredy Guarín was arrested by Colombian police in Medellín on Thursday, it reports El País. The 34-year-old former Internazionale midfielder was arrested covered in blood and in a drunken state at his parents’ house. Guarín is suspected of domestic violence, especially against his father.

There is a video released by BluRadio, which shows Guarín being pulled away from his parents’ house by a motorcycle cop. The Colombian, who is still furious at the time, makes attempts to attack his father again. His jeans are covered in blood stains. It is unclear whether these are his own or someone else’s.

A second video shows the arrest of Guarín, who is no longer wearing a shirt at the time. The 58-time international is handcuffed to a stretcher and driven away by hospital staff. Guarín does not want to hear about this and makes an attempt to get off the stretcher.

Guarín is best known for his time with Internazionale, the club he played for between 2011 and 2016. The midfielder grew into a valued force, appearing in 141 official matches i Nerazzurri. In January 2016 he was sold to the Chinese SH Shenhua, to return to South America three years later with Vasco da Gama. Guarín was without a club for six months, but has been under contract with Millonarios since January 1 of this year. Guarín has played seven duels for the Colombian club.
