Edwin van der Sar is disturbed by Wesley Sneijder, as he makes clear at the table on Monday evening Rondo. The record international of the Dutch gave last Friday during Veronica Offside to know that he had offered midfielder Azzedine Ounahi to Ajax, which refused to work on a transfer. Van der Sar cannot understand that Sneijder has made those conversations public.
“Wesley Sneijder was talking about Ounahi, who he would have offered to you. You would have said Ajax didn’t have the means to get him. Last Friday, Sneijder revealed that he had spoken to Van der Sar about the midfielder. “Azzedine Ounahi, that Moroccan midfielder who eventually went to Olympique Marseille, I talked to Edwin van der Sar about that”, the analyst said. “That boy wanted to go to Ajax. He’s a fantastic midfielder, he played a good World Cup. He immediately scored a great goal at Marseille.” According to Sneijder, the means were not there to incorporate Ounahi. “Then players had to leave first, that was not possible.”
Sneijder indicated that he had been approached by a person close to Ounahi. “I was told that he wanted to go to Ajax and was asked if I could do something. He really really wanted to.
