Thomas Tuchel has announced his first line-up as coach of Bayern Munich. The German trainer immediately starts with a cracker, there the record master against leader Borussia Dortmund in-house. Matthijs de Ligt has a basic place. Daley Blind, Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui start on the bench. At Dortmund, Donyell Malen starts on the bench. The match starts at 6:30 p.m. and can be viewed on via play.

Bayern came with bad injury news on Friday. Mathys Tel sustained an upper leg injury during the international match with France Under 19 and is currently out of circulation. As a result, he joins Manuel Neuer and Lucas Hernández in the infirmary. Bee the record master lately it has mainly been about the dismissal of Julian Nagelsmann, who has therefore been succeeded by Tuchel. A special duel for the latter, as he held sway at Dortmund between 2015 and 2017.

In his baptism of fire, Tuchel chooses to stick broadly to the team that Nagelsmann also often showed up. At the rear are the well-known names with Benjamin Pavard, De Ligt, Dayot Upamecano and Alphonso Davies. Sadio Mané and João Cancelo, among others, have to settle for a place on the reserve bench. On the visitors’ side, Sébastien Haller starts at the point of attack. Malen, active with the the Dutch against France and Gibraltar last week, starts on the bench.

Dortmund drops fewer unnecessary points than in previous seasons and therefore stands the Schwarzgelben at the top with one point ahead of Bayern. However, trainer Edin Terzic already mentioned at the press conference that Dortmund has had a hard time in the Allianz Arena in recent years. Since the 0-3 win in April 2014, all eight games in the Bundesliga have been lost since then. Of those defeats, the margin was only limited to one goal in November 2014. Earlier this season it became 2-2 after a goal from Anthony Modeste in the final minute.

Lineup Bayern Munich: Summer; Pavard; De Ligt, Upamecano, Davies; Kimmich, Goretzka, Muller; Coman, Choupo-Moting, Sane.

Borussia Dortmund line-up: Kobel; Wolf, Sule, Schlotterbeck, Ryerson; Can, Bellingham, Guerreiro; Giant, Brandt; Haller
