Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday spilled points in the Premier League. Despite the Spurs played a large part in the away game against Southampton with a man anymore, it was 1-1 at St Mary’s. At the same time, West Ham United won 1-4 against Watford, making the Hammers take the fifth place Tottenham. The difference is only one point and Tottenham has two games credit.

For obscure reasons Steven Bergwijn not belong to the selection of Tottenham. In an open game where neither team had control, Southampton came after 24 minutes of play. After a long throw Mohammed Salisu Tottenham had it not bring forth out of the box and could James Ward-Prowse: the curve that he gave the ball Hugo Lloris was too powerful. Earlier in the race had even scored Ben Davies on behalf of the visitors, but his goal was disallowed for offside. The game seemed to seven minutes before the break still tilting in favor of Tottenham.

The team of Antonio Conte received a penalty after a foul on Mohammed Salisu Heung-Min Son. To make matters worse for Southampton got Salisu after his tackle his second yellow card and the home team was so by ten men. Harry Kane shot the penalty impeccable touch in the left corner. Seven minutes after the break seemed Kane also 1-2 out of it after a fine pass from Winks, but he was narrowly offside. Then a goal by Matt Doherty was also rejected because it would have bothered goalkeeper Fraser Forster. Not much later came Doherty’s goalkeeper Forster. The keeper also parried a header from Son and survived the perilous injury time.

Watford – West Ham United 1-4
Watford played since December 10 no game more because of an outbreak of coronavirus. The Hornets shots off the blocks with their reintegration into the field: in the fourth minute Joshua King sent a low ball towards Emmanuel Dennis, who shook himself in the penalty area Craig Dawson and convincing low drive into the top right corner. Even then landed a powder of Saïd Benrahma the bar, allowing rapid equalizer from West Ham failed to materialize. The visitors had the upper hand and got to work with two goals within two minutes.

Crystal Palace – Norwich City 3-0
Crystal Palace, with Jairo Riedewald on the sofa, quickly took the lead in front of their home crowd. The team of trainer Patrick Vieira received a penalty after a foul by Kenny McLean on Will Hughes, after which Odsonne Édouard successfully searched the left corner from eleven meters. In the closing stages of the second half took Crystal Palace more from Norwich. Édouard enabled Jean-Philippe Mateta to make it 2-0 with a cross from the left, before giving the assist after some clever footwork, from which Jeffrey Schlupp determined the halftime score at 3-0. In the second half, Norwich looked for an honorary goal, but the Canaries were unable to make any further changes to the stand.
