Tottenham Hotspur have booked a minimal win against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday evening. Harry Kane was responsible for the only goal of the match after twenty minutes on a pass from Heung-min Son: 0-1. The victory puts the team of manager Antonio Conte three points behind leader Manchester City. Arsenal, which is second with 21 points, will play against Liverpool on Sunday.
Antonio Conte made four changes from last Tuesday’s draw with Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League. Yves Bissouma, among others, made his appearance against his old club, while Richarlison and Ivan Perisic had to make do with a place on the bench. Tottenham dominated possession in the opening phase, which led to scoring opportunities for Son and Rodrigo Bentancur.
