Johan Derksen tells Monday evening that he received an offer from the Public Broadcasting with Wilfred Genee and René van der Gijp. During the return of the program Today Inside the analyst seems to be talking out of hand, because Genee reacts somewhat surprised to his colleague’s announcement. “I don’t think the Public Broadcasting Service likes this,” says the presenter.
“I am immune to what the media reports about it, but I was kicked out of every organization I was involved in,” says Derksen, looking back on the recent period in which I was involved. Today Inside had stopped. “I was canceled everywhere. Though I’m not even scared yet. What shocked me is that people, who I thought were friends, reacted to some hysterical types on social media.”
“We always walk along the abyss, we have plunged into the abyss and now we crawl out and move on,” concludes Genee. Derksen: “Oh yes, we just keep going. What I also found to be a reason to continue is that you are in a position that you really can’t go any further. I duped you guys if the show ended. I was also told that families would become unemployed with families and children studying. In addition, I received gifts, messages and heartbreaking messages from fans every day.”
Van der Gijp seems to indicate that he could live with Derksen’s departure. “Ah, Johan, you have to stop for once. you are 74!
