Toulouse added three points in Ligue 1 on Wednesday evening, partly due to goals from Thijs Dallinga and Branco van den Boomen. The club from the south of France won 4-1 against Troyes at home. The 1-1 was made by Thijs Dallinga, while Branco van den Boomen took care of the 3-1 from a penalty kick. Due to the victory, Toulouse climbs to ninth place in Ligue 1.

At the home club, in addition to Dallinga and Van den Boomen, there was another Dutchman in the base: Stijn Spierings. Former AZ player Zakaria Aboukhlal started on the bench. The game started somewhat disappointingly for Toulouse, as they conceded a penalty after ten minutes. That was used by Mama Samba Baldé: 0-1. However, Troyes could not enjoy the lead for long, because Dallinga scored the equalizer after just over fifteen minutes of play. After a one-two between Brecht Dejaegere and Van den Boomen, the latter crossed, after which Dallinga was able to tap in the ball.

Even before the break, Toulouse had taken the lead, and Van den Boomen was again the principal. A corner from him was cleverly promoted to an assist by Farès Chaïbi before the near post. In the second half, Van den Boomen also got on the scoresheet himself, by using a penalty that was awarded after a foul by Yoann Salmier on Spierings. Shortly before time, substitute Ado Onaiwu determined the final score with his first goal in Ligue 1: 4-1.
