Peter Bosz does not understand that matches are still being played in the South American World Cup qualifier in the night from Thursday to Friday. The trainer of Olympique Lyon most likely cannot rely on the Brazilian Lucas Paquetá, when les Gones take on AS Monaco in Ligue 1 on Saturday evening.
“It is impossible that Paqueta can play against AS Monaco if he comes into action with the national team,” Bosz said on Thursday during the press conference in the run-up to the duel with the Monegasques. “If he doesn’t play, we can still watch. I do not understand it at all. I don’t know who is organizing all this. Three games in one international match period, the last of which on Thursday-evening.
