Mike Snoei is the new head coach of Telstar, the club from the Kitchen Champion Division announced on Friday. The 58-year-old coach is the successor of the recently departed Andries Jonker, who also acted as technical director in Velsen-Zuid. Snoei, who has signed for a season, also worked at Telstar between 2017 and 2019. He was succeeded three years ago by Jonker, who has since left.
Pruning will not be responsible for the duties of the technical director, Telstar adds to the press release. Telstar hopes for a repeat of the successful 2017/18 season, when they finished in sixth place in the Kitchen Champion Division and were eliminated by De Graafschap in the play-offs for promotion.
