Manchester City scored another big win in the Premier League on Saturday evening. Manager Pep Guardiola’s side were 0-4 too strong for Norwich City, mainly thanks to three goals from great star Raheem Sterling. Manchester City lift the lead over Liverpool to twelve points with the simple win, although the closest pursuer has played two games less.

Where Tim Krul was missing at Norwich City, Nathan Ake had a base place in the center of the defense next to Rúben Dias at Manchester City. The Citizens have been unbeaten for eleven games in a row, but with low-flying Norwich City they met a team that had only suffered one defeat in 2022. It took only three minutes for Manchester City to get the ball in the net, but Phil Foden’s goal was canceled due to offside.

After great chances for Bernardo Silva, Ilkay Gündogan and Raheem Sterling, the score was opened after 32 minutes of play. A far cross from Kyle Walker found Sterling, who was given space within the penalty area to curl the ball into the far corner with his right foot. Almost immediately after the break, Manchester City took away Norwich City’s hopes of a good result. Sterling found Gundogan, who in turn put the ball into the goal mouth. There Foden was ready to shoot the 0-2 against the ropes in two instances.

With twenty minutes left in the game, it was finally thrown into the slot. A rehearsed corner kick was thrown in front of the goal via Foden. There, Dias put the ball head wide, leaving Sterling with the ball in front of an empty target for tapping. The final chord was also provided by Sterling shortly before the end. The attacker was allowed to build from eleven meters for his third goal after Liam Delap was knocked down and saw his effort initially turned by goalkeeper Angus Gunn, but determined the final score from the rebound at 0-4.
