Tottenham Hotspur has reached a personal agreement with Radu Dragusin, transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano assured on Sunday. The 21-year-old Romanian centre-back has impressed at Genoa this season and has to deal with the personal problems at the back of the Spurs light up. Micky van de Ven, among others, has not been available for the Londoners for some time.

Romano emphasizes on X that negotiations between Genoa and Tottenham are still ongoing. The Italians have reportedly set the asking price at 30 million euros, while Tottenham did not want to go further than a transfer fee of 25 million euros for the time being.

Jean-Clair Todibo was also on Tottenham's list, but according to various English media, bringing in Dragusin is a top priority of manager Ange Postecoglou. In the coming days, all parties involved will continue to discuss the winter transfer of the twelve-time Romania international.

Dragusin is one of the driving forces of Genoa this season, which returned to Serie A last summer and starts the second half of the season as number twelve. The defender coveted by Tottenham scored on Friday against leader Inter, which did not get further than a 1-1 draw against Genoa.

Van de Ven
Tottenham has to deal with an almost overflowing infirmary. In addition to Van de Ven, who suffered a hamstring injury at the beginning of November, and Cristian Romero, James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur and Ivan Perisic are also suffering from serious injuries.

However, the injury is almost over for Van de Ven. “I don't think he will be there against Burnley (January 5, ed.), but maybe against Manchester United (January 14, ed.),” Postecoglou said last week.

Postecoglou had to make some emergency moves at the center back last Thursday against Brighton & Hove Albion (4-2 loss). Due to the many injuries, backs Emerson Royal and Ben Davies formed the heart of the North London defense.
