PSV has still not succeeded in acquiring Ryan Flamingo from FC Utrecht. There are now several hijackers on the coast looking to capture the central defender and midfielder, reports Jeroen Kapteijns on behalf of The Telegraph.

Utrecht rented Flamingo from Sassuolo last season and subsequently decided to remove the option from the right winger's contract for an amount around 2 to 3 million euros in the hope of making a hit on the transfer market with his sale next summer.

The Domstedelingen are reportedly aiming for a Quinten Timber-like transfer fee for Flamingo, an amount around 8 to 10 million euros. According to The Telegraph PSV has submitted several bids for Utrecht's seasoning star, although no amounts are mentioned by the morning newspaper.

There would still be 'a considerable gap' between the asking price and the highest bid from the people of Eindhoven. In the meantime, PSV will face serious competition. Clubs from Germany, Belgium and Italy now also have Flamingo in their sights, although they have not yet made any concrete offers.

Driouech's arrival is also uncertain

PSV had actually wanted to realize the arrival of Couhaib Driouech, but negotiations with Excelsior about the 22-year-old attacker are currently at a standstill. That news brought it Eindhovens Dagblad and Football International out on Monday evening.

PSV has already made an offer for Driouech, but the Kralingers require a higher transfer fee and are seeing a lot of (foreign) interest in the attacker. There are reportedly around ten clubs in the market for the Morocco youth international, including Leeds United and Sevilla.

Driouech would prefer a transfer to PSV, where he can sign a contract until mid-2028. It is not expected that technical director Earnest Stewart will make an increased offer, which will lead to a stalemate.
