Everton are considering the arrival of Sheraldo Becker, know Sky Deutschland. The 27-year-old attacker must fill the gap left at Goodison Park by Anthony Gordon, who has left for Newcastle United. Although Everton has not yet made an official offer to Union Berlin, Becker seems to be open to a departure, according to the German medium.

Everton lost one of its few tastemakers with Gordon. The Toffees are going through a lousy season and are currently in nineteenth place in the Premier League, two points below the relegation zone. Frank Lampard was already about to be fired and successor Sean Dyche could take the road up with Becker. The Suriname international had a flashy start to the season with six hits and three assists in the first seven league matches. Although his production declined after that, he still looks good abroad.

However, Union is not thrilled about Becker’s departure. The Eisner consider the team from Amsterdam as a key player in the title race and therefore a transfer is at best uncertain. It seems to depend on the offer Everton puts on the table. It falls according to Sky It cannot be ruled out that the English will report to Berlin on Tuesday to arrange the transfer.

Union, the current number two in the Bundesliga, welcomed Isco as a new selection member on Monday. The thirty-year-old playmaker saw an adventure at Seville completely fail and therefore signed for a season and a half in the German capital, with an option for another year. Becker has been playing at Union since July 2019, but only emerged as a star this season. Just like teammate Danilo Doekhi, he will soon face his old club Ajax in the Europa League.
