PSV coach Roger Schmidt will choose Noni Madueke as a replacement for Sam Lammers on Saturday night against FC Emmen. The latter is about to complete his transition to Atalanta and is therefore not in the match selection. Madueke was on Sunday against FC Groningen (1-3 win) even more substitute.

Schmidt makes another change from the basic position against Groningen. Mohamed Ihattaren plays from the right side of the four-man centrefield. The attacking midfielder had passed Groningen. Mauro Júnior then played at the Ihattaren position, which was twenty minutes ahead of his time.

For the rest, Schmidt holds on to the base players who won from Groningen. This means that Yvon Mvogo is once again below the bar. Jordan Teze and Olivier Boscagli are preferred to Nick Viergever and Timo Baumgartl in the back, while Denzel Dumfries and Philipp Max occupy the backpositions. Pablo Rosario and Ryan Thomas once again form the central block in midfield. Cody Gakpo has to provide crosses to the strikers Madueke and Donyell Malen from the left side.
