Stade de Reims is working on the arrival of Mohamed Daramy. Foot Mercato reported last Saturday that the French are trying to steal Ajax’s wing attacker from Burnley’s nose. The Clarets achieved according to The Athletic earlier an agreement with Ajax about the transfer of Daramy. However, Reims has now also made an official offer to the team from Amsterdam, Fabrizio Romano knows.

Reims would like to commit a coup by stealing Daramy’s signature. According to Romano, the Ligue 1 club has sixteen million euros plus resale percentage for the 21-year-old Dane. With this offer, Reims hopes to take over Daramy immediately. The left winger is reportedly in talks with both clubs at the moment.

Should Daramy opt for a transfer to Burnley, it will be a rental with a mandatory option to buy. The proposed deal of the English PhD student amounts to 15 million euros excluding bonuses and a resale percentage. It’s up to Burnley to strike a deal with Daramy himself now. The renowned Transfer market estimates its current market value at 6 million euros, but that amount is much higher. Manager Vincent Kompany is reportedly fully convinced of his qualities.

Fabrizio Romano already announced on Thursday that Burnley wants to do business with Ajax ‘at any cost’ and wants to incorporate the wing striker as soon as possible. Ajax would do excellent business with an amount of 15 million euros (2 million bonus, 10 percent resale). In 2021, the team from Amsterdam transferred 12 million euros to FC Copenhagen to incorporate the attacker. Last season he was rented out to the Danish top club.

So far, Daramy has made twelve appearances in the Eredivisie. In those matches, he only scored once and provided three assists. However, the Dane was mainly available as a substitute: in total he played 196 minutes in the competition. After a one-year rental period to Copenhagen, Daramy returned to Amsterdam at the end of June. Now he can prepare for an adventure in the Premier League or Ligue 1.
