PSV has reached an agreement with Cruzeiro about a partnership, reports The Telegraph† The people of Eindhoven will work together with the club of owner Ronaldo (45) in the field of players, thus demonstrating the new accents of the transfer policy. PSV wants to focus more on the Brazilian market again and as part of that is about to bring in Savinho.

The arrival of eighteen-year-old Savinho is almost certain, after the Brazilian talent himself already expressed his preference for a temporary stay in Eindhoven. PSV can only get Savinho through a construction with the City Football Group, which will take over the wing striker for 6.5 million euros from Atlético Mineiro and rent it directly to PSV. This was recently confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, among others.

For PSV, Savinho is only the beginning of his hunt for great Brazilian talents. The number two of last season in the Eredivisie will find a partner for this in Ronaldo. The former striker of PSV, among others, which has had a majority interest in Cruzeiro since December, will start a collaboration with the Eindhoven team from Brazil. Under Ronaldo’s reign, the Belo Horizonte club is experiencing a revival in Brazilian football. The club has been promoted to Série B from the third level and is now at the top of that competition.

Closer to home, PSV is also working hard to bring in reinforcements, in order to be optimally prepared for the matches in the preliminary round of the Champions League next month. Xavi Simons will be the next addition. The nineteen-year-old attacking midfielder will extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain and will then be loaned out to PSV. The Dutch top club has already strengthened itself with Walter Benítez (free transfer from OGC Nice), Ki-Jana Hoever (rented from Wolverhampton Wanderers) and Boy Waterman (free transfer from OFI Crete).
