PSV wants to strengthen itself with Arnaut Danjuma. It reports that Eindhovens Dagblad wednesday night. PSV’s interest has also been confirmed by reliable sources in the Danjuma area. However, the people of Eindhoven are not the only ones chasing the 25-year-old attacker, because according to Relev has been offered to almost the entire Premier League by his agent.

Rick Elfrink of the Eindhovens Dagblad reports on Twitter that PSV has shown concrete interest in Danjuma and would like to bring him back to the Netherlands. The six-time international played in the youth of PSV, after which he made the switch to NEC in 2016 at the age of nineteen. In Eindhoven he never played in the first team. He did, however, play once for Young PSV in the Kitchen Champion Division.

Villarreal, the club where Danjuma is still under contract, will take on Real Madrid in the eighth finals of the Copa del Rey on Thursday evening. Danjuma will then not be part of the match selection. He may leave this winter at the club, which is committed to a permanent transfer or rent with a mandatory option to buy. Since Saturday, Danjuma has been with permission from el Submarino Amarillo in England to look for a new club. There he has already been offered to Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United, among others. The Premier League clubs most concrete for the attacker – Bournemouth, Everton and Nottingham Forest – only want to hire the attacker for the time being.

Roig Negueroles, the president of Villarreal, also confirmed last week that Danjuma is being pulled. “Although we have not yet received a formal offer, there is interest. The market is moving and we will see how it develops. I don’t know what will happen in the coming weeks,” the 48-year-old director told ASH. The Athletic reported last Thursday that AFC Bournemouth is willing to return Danjuma. The Dutchman already played for two seasons between 2019 and 2021 the Cherries and then scored seventeen goals in 52 official matches.

Danjuma left for Villarreal in the summer of 2021 for 23.5 million euros and scored sixteen goals and six assists in 34 matches across all competitions last year. This season, Danjuma is a lot more difficult: in LaLiga he only managed to score against Osasuna, although twice. In the Copa del Rey, he was recently important for Villarreal. Second divisionist FC Cartagena was sidelined 5-1 in the third round of the cup tournament, partly thanks to a goal by Danjuma.
