The police in Eindhoven arrested two people shortly after the top match between PSV and Ajax on Sunday, it was officially announced on Monday. The two were involved in the disturbances at the Ajax players bus that was parked at the exit of the Philips Stadium. The anger of various PSV supporters focused on Dusan Tadic, who showed provocative behavior towards Denzel Dumfries after his used penalty kick in the final phase.

Tadic was called names and even pelted and with the help of some security guards, the attacker of Ajax eventually managed to reach the players’ bus of the Amsterdam club. The arrested persons are charged with committing disorderly and disturbing public order. “One person threw something at Tadic and the other threw something at other Ajax players”, a police spokesperson said on Monday in a response to it. ANP. “Other than that, the afternoon passed quietly.” Incidentally, the detainees have already been released.

On Sunday after the squatter between PSV and Ajax, a few dozen fans of the home club had gathered behind crush barriers outside the stadium, waiting for the players of Ajax. Tadic got something thrown at his head and it was probably a coin. The captain of the leader in the Eredivisie took himself under protection and the perpetrator was quickly grabbed by the police. Images of the incident at the PSV stadium then quickly circulated on social media.

Following the incident concerning Tadic, Ajax filed a report on Sunday evening for attempted assault of the attacker, as was soon announced in a response to the NOS. It is not yet known what PSV will do with the two people who have been arrested for their part in the disturbances after Ajax’s home.
