Paris Saint-Germain has handed over a victory in Lille in injury time. Coach Luis Enrique's team seemed to win 0-1 against Lille OSC thanks to a penalty kick from Kylian Mbappé, but the reality turned out to be different. Jonathan David headed the equalizer against the ropes deep into injury time: 1-1. PSG is now five points clear of number two OGC Nice; Lille is fourth.

At Lille, Yusuf Yazici was the designated man at the point of attack. The Turk was supported at his back by, among others, Angel Gomes. At PSG, Mbappé was the striker on duty, with Ousmane Dembélé and Bradley Barcola in his back.

The first big chances of the match came from Edon Zhegrova. First of all, he shot just wide and a minute later he just missed the target. PSG also lacked luck. Dembélé shot just wide.

Ten minutes before half-time, PSG came close to scoring the first goal of the evening. Vitinha got some space in the box and tried in the short corner with a good shot. Lucas Chevalier was ready and converted the ball into a corner kick.

It had to happen after the break for the Parisians, who, however, had difficulty finding opportunities. After just over an hour of play, PSG were awarded a penalty. Lucas Hernández was hit on the calf by Bafodé Diakité. Mbappé took the penalty and shot it flawlessly into the left corner. Chevalier was close, but fell just short of stopping his compatriot's attempt: 0-1.

Lille received renewed energy in the final phase and that led to danger for PSG's goal several times. For example, Tiago Santos barely saw a shot blocked and a few perilous moments in front of goal yielded nothing.

Just before the end things went wrong for PSG. Marco Asensio shot by simply handing in the ball. Arnau Tenas was then able to save on an attempt by Adam Ounas, but David still headed home on the rebound: 1-1.
