Mino Raiola confirms in conversation with Football International that he has not had any contact with Mohamed Ihattaren for a while. The last thing the midfielder’s agent heard is that he wants to stop playing football. PSV confirms to the weekly that Raiola Ihattaren advised against a transfer abroad because he did not think he was ready for the step abroad, but that the player himself did not see a transfer to Feyenoord, FC Utrecht or other Dutch clubs.

Ihattaren got sidetracked at PSV last season and was sold in the summer to Juventus, who moved him to Sampdoria. The nineteen-year-old talent did not get to play in Italy either and suddenly left for the Netherlands. Ihattaren has been missing and unreachable for weeks, although he occasionally makes himself heard via social media. His supervisor Raiola has no contact with him either. “You know I never talk about my players, that’s why I don’t write a book,” Raiola says. “So don’t say a bad word about Mo Ihattaren from me and if he still wants my help, I’ll help him. But it’s true that we haven’t had any contact for a while.”

Earlier this month there was a rumor in Italy that Ihattaren wants to stop playing football. Opposite Rising Ballers would have informed the player that none of that was true. if VI Raiola confronts the rumours, the agent confirms that Ihattaren has expressed the desire to stop playing football to him. However, it is a mystery to Raiola why he came to that decision. In his first weeks in Italy, Ihattaren would have had a good time at Sampdoria.

According to the weekly, many other agents are after Ihattaren. Raiola had to work hard last summer to help the midfielder find a new club. According to reports, two days before the transfer deadline, no club was concrete. VI learns from the entourage around Ihattaren that he is staying with his girlfriend in Tilburg. People in his immediate environment are concerned about the footballer and his savings, which they believe will pass smoothly, or so it sounds.
