Róbert Bozeník, Christian Conteh and Tein Troost are nominated to temporarily leave Feyenoord during the winter transfer period, supporter platforms report Feyenoord Transfermarkt and 1908. Bozeník and Conteh are currently leased to Fortuna Düsseldorf and SV Sandhausen respectively. 1908 already reported on Sunday that Sandhausen will send the German attacker back this winter.
Conteh has been playing on a rental basis with the number sixteen of the 2.Bundesliga since last summer. He did not go further than four games at Sandhausen and gave one assist. According to 1908 it will be checked whether it is technically possible to immediately rent out the German to a nearby Dutch club. Bozeník was also loaned out to a 2.Bundesliga club last summer. The Slovakian striker had to make do with the current number thirteen mainly with substitutions. In 263 minutes of play, spread over ten league matches, he was accurate twice.
Feyenoord took over Conteh from FC St. Pauli in the summer of 2020. Partly due to various injuries, he only played two official games in his first season in Rotterdam, both as a substitute. This season he was still on the reserve bench during the diptych in the second preliminary round of the Conference League with FC Drita (0-0 and 3-2), but then it was decided to rent him out. Feyenoord is looking at whether it is technically possible that Conteh – who is still in Rotterdam until mid-2024 – is immediately rented out to a Dutch club.
The Rotterdammers took over Bozeník from MSK Zilina in January 2020, but the striker failed to convince former trainer Dick Advocaat in De Kuip. In the preparation for this season, Bozeník did get the chance from Arne Slot to show himself, but after a short substitute in the Eredivisie game with Willem II (0-4 win), it was decided to rent him out as well. It is not yet known whether he will also be sent back by Fortuna Düsseldorf.
In addition to Conteh and Bozeník, Feyenoord is also open to a rental period from nineteen-year-old talent Troost, according to the two sources mentioned. The young goalkeeper has already been on the bench with the main force eleven times this season, but is still waiting for his official debut.
