Napoli booked an important victory in the battle for the Italian title on Sunday afternoon. The team of coach Luciano Spalletti recorded a 1-3 win over Atalanta, for whom Marten de Roon provided the only goal. Musso did indeed go in the right direction with Lorenzo Insigne’s penalty, but did not get his fingers behind the ball. Even before halftime, Napoli doubled the margin. With 37 minutes on the clock, Insigne took a free kick halfway through the half of Atalanta very cleverly. Matteo Politano ran free after a good run, received the ball and was able to work the second Neapolitan goal of the afternoon against the ropes from close range.
Atalanta managed to get back into the game early in the second half.
