AS Monaco and Lille OSC shared the points in Ligue 1 on Friday evening. The reigning champions took a 0-2 lead in the first ten minutes at Stade Louis II, but Monaco eventually came back to 2-2. The final goal was scored by Wissam Ben Yedder, who replaced Myron Boadu and delivered the momentum the young base customer failed to deliver. At that time, Monaco was on the field with one man less.
Lille had not won the previous four league matches, but got off to an excellent start in Monaco. Jonathan David scored twice in the first ten minutes to boost his season tally to ten goals, making him the Ligue 1 top scorer.
