Mohammed Kudus was of great value for West Ham United on Thursday evening. The Ghanaian, who came over from Ajax, made the liberating 2-1 in the match against TSC Backa Topola twenty minutes before the end. The match in the Europa League against the Serbian opponent ultimately ended in a 3-1 win for manager David Moyes’ team.

Particularities:
West Ham, which started without Edson Álvarez but with Kudus in the starting line-up, had a remarkably difficult time with TSC. Nevertheless, the Conference League holder was given the necessary opportunities. Thilo Kehrer shot at the Serbian goalkeeper and Konstantinos Mavropanos headed just wide from a corner. Nemanja Stojic almost made it 0-1, but he shot just wide just before the half-time signal. The goals did come after the break.

Petar Stanic finished neatly after a huge mistake by Angelo Ogbonna in midfield. A stunt seemed to be in the making, but Nemanja Petrovic made it 1-1 with an own goal. At first Kudus seemed to be the scorer, but it turned out to be an own goal. Moments later, Kudus scored his first goal the Hammers. The attacker headed well from a corner: 2-1. Tomás Soucek also made it 3-1. The Czech also headed flawlessly from a corner.
