Mohammed Kudus presented his calling card in an unparalleled manner on Thursday evening. The former Ajax player crossed the entire field with a solo and scored to make it 4-0 on behalf of West Ham United against SC Freiburg.

West Ham United knew what they had to do after the 1-0 defeat in Freiburg last week and quickly put things in order. With Kudus and Edson Álvarez in the starting line-up, David Moyes' team took the lead within ten minutes.

Lucas Paqueta was served at the far post by Tomás Soucek and was able to easily finish from close range. After half an hour of play the score was doubled by Jarrod Bowen.

West Ham cast aside all trepidation and soon increased the margin to three at half-time. After an attack on the right side, the ball ended up in the hands of Aaron Cresswell, who was able to take the ball and score effectively into the right corner: 3-0.

The best moment of the evening was yet to come. After Kudus received the ball far into his own half, he dribbled past three opponents to effectively complete his solo over 75 meters.

In the 85th minute Kudus scored another nice goal, although this one was slightly less spectacular than his first. The attacking midfielder fired hard and low eighteen meters from the goal for the 5-0.
