Mohamed Ihattaren has made himself heard for the first time in a long time. The midfielder discusses his radio silence from the past period with Ajax club channels. In January, the twenty-year-old Dutchman surprisingly turned up at Ajax. It was soon concluded that Ihattaren had to come from far away, so the Amsterdammers protected him from publicity in the press.
Ihattaren talks to Ajax TV including his fitness. In recent months, this has been the theme several times when it comes to the gifted left leg. “That chapter is now closed,” he says. Ihattaren has ‘a lot of sense’ to show his real self. Trainer Alfred Schreuder was happy with the input of his pupil after the practice match against SV Meppen (3-0). “I think you see certain things from Hakim Ziyech,” he explained to Schreuder Ziggo Sports† “He does have his own game, but you see that mo also has rest at the ball, can put the ball away and a man can pass.”
Floris Roos, editor of Ajax Life, revealed last Tuesday that Ajax allows Ihattaren to give interviews again. Even then, the expectation was that the dribbler would make an appearance in front of the club channel. That moment has now arrived.
