Paris Saint-Germain and OGC Nice failed to score a goal on Wednesday evening. That was partly due to PSG attackers Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Nice striker Kasper Dolberg, who all missed a big chance: 0-0. PSG remains firmly at the top, while Nice is fourth. At the same time as Olympique Lyon, Peter Bosz lost in the last minute against Stade de Reims (1-2) and sees his problems getting worse. Lille OSC managed to find its way up thanks to a great victory at Stade Rennes (1-2).

Paris Saint Germain – OGC Nice 0-0
After Messi and Gianluigi Donnarumma were honored with their individual awards at the Ballon d’Or gala, the match was able to start five minutes late. PSG had to do without the injured Georginio Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos and Neymar. At Nice, Justin Kluivert started in the starting line-up, Calvin Stengs was on the bench and Pablo Rosario was suspended.

Kasper Dolberg, another Nice base customer, created the first threat with a hard long shot, which was blocked by Donnarumma. PSG then took the upper hand and became dangerous after half an hour of play via Kylian Mbappé, who saw his low shot caught by Walter Benítez. On the other side, Nice was close with a header from Andy Delort, which was nicely caught by Donnarumma. Shortly after the break, PSG created shooting opportunities from within the box for Ángel Di María and Nuno Mendes respectively, but Benítez intervened strongly in both cases.

In a new breakout from Nice, Dolberg seemed to be able to tap in at the far post, but the Dane hit the post. The best chance of the match followed for Mbappé, who was completely released after a nice ball from Messi, but shot wide from close range. Messi also had a good shooting opportunity in the final phase, but hit the ball completely wrong from sixteen meters. Idrissa Gana Gueye tried again with a bicycle kick, but that attempt was unsuccessful.

Olympique Lyon – Stade de Reims 1-2
The team Warbler had a difficult first half hour, but made a better impression in the last fifteen minutes before halftime. The second half was barely ten minutes old when Wout Faes, former player of Heerenveen and Excelsior, opened the scoring after a corner: 0-1. The advantage of the visitors who took office without the suspended Azor Matusiwa and passed Mitchell Mountain, ten minutes are kept. Karl Toko Ekambi finished at the far post delicious down 1-1. A rake counterattack in the fourth minute of extra time, with Hugo Ekitike as terminal, felling a judgment about les gones: 1-2. Lyon remains in tenth place, while Stade de Reims takes some distance from the relegation zone in fourteenth place.

Stade Rennes – Lille OSC 1-2
After a groin injury of more than a month and a half, Sven Botman returned to the base at Lille OSC. The Dutch stopper saw how Stade Rennes had the upper hand in the first half hour, but then they were lesson Dogues turn. Renato Sanches sent Timothy Weah away with a great through ball and the American gave Xeka an unmissable opportunity: 0-1. Just before tea, Sanches himself was the end station of an attack and the Portuguese widened the margin to two. Five minutes before the end, Rennes made it exciting: Benjamin Bourigeaud shot right through the middle past Ivo Grbic. However, the home team did not equalize. Lille climbs to twelfth place, Rennes remains in third place.
