Hate it or love it, but the private life of the football players and their WAGs is the guilty pleasure of many fans of the game. Football zone is of course all about football news, but in Goals & Gossip it pays special attention to the trade and walking of the stars far beyond the boundaries.

Juice channel Reality FBI reports that Xavi Simons has bought a million-dollar villa in Someren in Brabant. It is not known how much the twenty-year-old PSV midfielder paid for the house, but the house was reportedly for sale for 2.35 million euros. In 2015, the villa was purchased for 1.9 million euros by Bas de Vet, co-founder of the company Euro Caps. In recent years, Simons’ new residence is said to have increased in value. It is currently questionable whether the the Dutch international will live in the million-dollar villa himself.

Simons is also the owner of another villa in North Brabant, located in the village of Lieshout. The right leg paid more than a million euros for that villa a few months ago. Reality FBI thinks Simons sees one of the two villas as a real estate investment. In which house he will actually live is still unknown. Investing in real estate is extremely popular among the internationals of the Dutch national team. Currently, Liverpool striker Cody Gakpo and Manchester City defender Nathan Aké own the most real estate according to Quote.

PSV fans will hope that Simons himself will live in his new home in Someren, as there is a greater chance that he will continue to play in Eindhoven. In the Philips Stadium, the seasonal revelation is still fixed until mid-2027, but Paris Saint-Germain could retrieve it for just twelve million euros through a clause. Simons himself has the highest word in this. The midfielder has been an invaluable asset to PSV this season, with 18 goals and 12 assists in 45 official games. The team from Eindhoven, who already won the TOTO KNVB Cup and Johan Cruijff Shield, seem to be heading for second place in the Eredivisie. PSV would thus qualify for the preliminary rounds of the Champions League, which could be a favorable development for Simons to stay longer.
