Luis Sinisterra stands according to kicker in the interest of Bayer Leverkusen. The wing attacker is experiencing a strong season at Feyenoord and would now also have been noticed by the technical leadership of the Germans. Leverkusen would have an amount of up to 25 million euros for Sinisterra, but only wants to report in Rotterdam after the season.

Sinisterra was acquired in the summer of 2018 for approximately two million euros from the Colombian Once Caldas. Where his production in his first two seasons was somewhat disappointing, partly due to a serious cruciate ligament injury, the current season means Sinisterra’s definitive breakthrough. The Colombian is in top form and this season has already been good for 23 goals and 13 assists in the shirt of the club from Rotterdam South.

Sinisterra’s contract with Feyenoord will continue for another two years after this season, which does not make the need for the club to sell. Feyenoord will hope that it will lead to a bidding war between various interested parties, including Leverkusen. That Work Self finishes in third place regardless of the results on the last day of play in the Bundesliga, securing a qualification for the Champions League.

The club wants to strengthen itself in order to fight for good results in Germany as well as in a European context. The club from Leverkusen has between 20 and 25 million euros for the attacker, but wants to wait until after the season finale before knocking on Feyenoord’s door. Sinisterra was previously L’Equipe linked to Lille OSC and OGC Nice, while Corriere dello Sport Napoli mentioned as a possible destination for the five-time international.

With a transfer fee of 20 to 25 million euros, Sinisterra would become the most expensive player ever for Feyenoord. Dirk Kuyt has held the record for sixteen years, after he left for Liverpool in 2006 for 18 million euros. Rick Karsdorp (for 16 million euros to AS Roma), Terence Kongolo (15 million to AS Monaco), Jordy Clasie (15 million to Southampton) and Royston Drenthe (14 million to Real Madrid) complete the top five outgoing record transfers.
