Internazionale’s line-up against Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening could look very different than last weekend against AC Milan. The team of trainer Simone Inzaghi lost 3-2 in the city derby and that is not without consequences, Italian media predict. André Onana, among others, is on the list to possibly make his appearance. It would mean his official debut for the Cameroonian.

One of the possible changes is the one below the bar, predicts Sky Italy. Onana seems to have been rattling at the gate for some time and should be rewarded in the first group match in the Champions League. The goalkeeper who came over from Ajax played against FC Lugano, AS Monaco and Olympique Lyon in preparation, but is still waiting for his first official minutes. After Samir Handanovic’s hesitant performance against AC Milan, the call for Onana is growing, so it sounds.

In the vanguard, Inzaghi cannot yet have Romelu Lukaku, which means that a place may become available for Edin Dzeko. The Bosnian had to settle for a role as a substitute against Milan, but was accurate. His starting place must be at the expense of Joaquín Correa. Lautaro Martínez is undisputed in the Inzaghi team. In midfield, the biggest surprise is that Nicolò Barella is very likely to get some rest. His place is to be taken by Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Denzel Dumfries is secured in the rear on the right, but may see Robin Gosens make his entrance on the left. The German fullback appeared to be on his way to Bayer Leverkusen during the transfer window, but remained inboard. So far this season, Gosens has only appeared at the kick-off against Lecce in an official match. His call for a transfer could therefore be explained. Inter and Bayern kick off on Wednesday evening at 9 p.m. in Giuseppe Meazza.
