Ki-Jana Hoever was allowed to taste the big stuff several times last season at Liverpool. A definitive breakthrough at Anfield goes according to the Daily Mail but don’t come for the eighteen-year-old defender. The English tabloid reports Friday afternoon that Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers have reached an agreement on a transition from Hoever.

According to reports, the transition of the Dutch youth international involves an amount of ten million pounds, converted into approximately eleven million euros. Earlier this transfer period, Wolverhampton said goodbye to Matt Doherty who left for Tottenham Hotspur and Hoever is seen as an additional option in the back right-hand side and in the centre of the defence.

If Hoever indeed leaves, his employment with Liverpool will end after two years. The reigning champion of England picked the youngster up at Ajax in the summer of 2018. Last year, against Wolverhampton of all places, the youngest player ever to be of the Reds in the FA Cup.

In the past season, Hoever was in action three times on behalf of Liverpool’s main force, twice in the EFL Cup and once in the FA Cup. During the Premier League game against Watford in February this year, he was also part of the selection of manager Jürgen Klopp, but he did not make an official debut in the English league at the time.
