Latest update:

Kenneth Taylor is in the interest of Juventus, it writes Gazzetta Dello Sport Friday afternoon. The pink sports newspaper reports that the Italian record champion is dissatisfied with the current qualities in midfield. That is why a shortlist has been drawn up.

This season, with a current third place, Juventus is on course for a Champions League ticket for next season. However, the club's board is dissatisfied with the scoring ability in midfield and reinforcements must therefore be brought in this summer.

Adrien Rabiot, Manuel Locatelli and Weston McKennie have scored five league goals so far this season and the management therefore believes reinforcements are desperately needed. With a possible defensive midfielder, Locatelli could play higher in midfield, but attracting a scoring midfielder is also a possibility, the pink sports newspaper writes.

Juventus does not have a large budget at its disposal. Teun Koopmeiners is the absolute top target of The old lady next summer. However, there is talk of a transfer fee of 60 million for the Atalanta midfielder, which leaves little budget.

One of the names on the list in Turin is Kenneth Taylor. The 21-year-old midfielder has reportedly been monitored by Juventus' general manager for some time and is seen as a relatively cheap option.

Other names mentioned are Martín Zubimendi, Mikel Merino (Real Sociedad), Sofyan Amrabat (Manchester United) and Mads Bidstrup (Red Bull Salzburg).

Juventus will certainly be able to add one name to the selection next summer. Nicolò Fagioli will most likely return to the selection, after a seven-month suspension for illegal gambling.
