Juventus will have to do without its regular striker pair Paulo Dybala and Álvaro Morata for the time being. Dybala left the field in tears against Sampdoria (3-2 win) on Sunday with a thigh injury and Morata also appeared to have injured his hamstring in that game. Both players are not expected back until after the international break.

Because addition Kaio Jorge is also still injured, the tastes up front at Juventus will be thin for Massimiliano Allegri in the coming week. Morata was sidelined against Sampdoria in the 82nd minute and replaced by Moise Kean. In the twentieth minute, Dejan Kulusevski came in as a replacement for the injured Dybala.

Dybala and Morata will have to miss at least the next two Juventus games. Wednesday plays la Vecchia Signora at home in the Champions League against Chelsea, after the first game in the group stage was convincingly won against Malmö FF (0-3). The city derby in the Serie A at Torino will follow for Juventus on Saturday.
